Anyone off to the Bridlington Scooter Rally next month?
I'll be setting off on the Friday (30th October) along with Digger & Ste. Really looking forward to this rally, especially as Secret Affair are playing on the Friday night and Dexys Bootleg Runners are on the Saturday. ;D
Those of you who caught Dexys Bootleg Runners at The Ku Bar earlier this year know just how good this tribute band are. Not normally a fan of tribute bands but these are something special. A 12 piece band from Glasgow who dress like Dexys in 1980 (wooly hats & donkey jackets) and cover tracks from all 3 Dexys albums ('Searching For the Young Soul Rebels', Too-Ry-Aye' & 'Don't Stand Me Down').
The clip below was taken by Charlie at The Ku Bar which was only the bands 4th gig and first one outside of Scotland.
