Greetings from across the pond!
I'm Jonathan, an old Canadian skinhead, heathen, and family man. I'm more into oi! than ska and reggae, but I figured I'd join up to shoot the shit with others of like-mind.
I'm old school as far as skinhead goes; I have my politics, like anyone does, but I don't involve them in the scene. Hell, I'm not even in the scene anymore...pretty much retired. Just wear the gear (most of the time) and listen to the music.
That's pretty much it. Glad to be here.

As I do enjoy the scooter rallies down there. Still never made it to the main do though and tend to just go round the pubs on the evening.

I don't really know if there's much going on in Swindon or not. But if Reading isn't too far away from you I know of a regular night that plays 60's ska & reggae.

At the moment there are no Pressure Drop nights in the Boro. Instead the night is held every 3 months in Birmingham with the next one been on Saturday 30th November at The Moseley Arms. The Birmingham nights have proved to be hugely successful and we have a lot of people travelling for outside the area to these nights with The Moseley Arms proving cheap B&B for those looking to stay over in England's second capital.

Hi All Just a quick hello. I'm Phil but my friends call me Pip. I live in London. I'm an ancient old geeza at 53 Spent most of my life living the skinhead life. Only just found this group, obviously old age and poor eyesight is to blame for that. Up for any events, nights out, gigs as my wife. although she likes my musical taste just isn't into the lifestyle or the gigs. One of my great life experiences was meeting Jimmy Cliff. Purely accidentally. I have family in France so spent a lot of time there and Jimmy was gigging there. Being English the French security just assumed that me and my wife were part of the entourage and just let us backstage. To be honest we didn't even realise where we were until I saw JC sitting on a wall being interviewed. I was like a dog with 2 cocks and couldn't believe my luck. Waited for the interview to finish and went over and had a chat. What an absolutely lovely fella. Me and wifey then left and found a little restaurant to eat in. It was absolutely jammed but we got a table for 4 as it was the only one left. Well F**k my old boots who walks in, Mr Cliff himself, being totally unaware who this legend was the staff told him there were no seats and he could try somewhere else or come back later. Up I got, straight over to the man himself and having already broken the ice half an hour earlier asked him to join us for lunch. It was a fantastic day and a great gig
