The 2 bands I play bass in (The Odels & Thee Strawberry Mynde) have a couple of double headliners coming up in Teesside over the next few weeks. For those who haven't heard the bands before The Odels are a Soul band from Newcastle & Thee Strawberry Mynde play garage/punk.
The dates are -
The Odels & Thee Strawberry Mynde gigs:
Saturday 8th August - The Music Lounge, 21 Yarm Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3DR. 8pm till late. Admission £2
Saturday 5th September - The Studio, Tower Street, Hartlepool, TS24 7HQ. (+ the Get Smarter DJ crew) 7.30pm till late. Admission £5.
And a couple of gigs that Thee Strawberry Mynde have booked -
Saturday 25th July - Woodhorn Lane Music Festival, Ashington Football Club (on stage at 2pm).
3 day music festival from Friday 24th July till Sunday 26th July and it's FREE in. Headliner for the Saturday is The Specials Roddy Radiation.
Sunday 6th September - The Tavern, 55 Beaconsfield Street, Blyth, Northumberland, NE24 2DS.
