Last year while I was in Saltburn I walked into the ArtsBank shop to have a look around. Anyway, one of the photos caught my eye, it was of some skinheads getting marched out of Ayesome Park back in the early 70's. The photo was a bit too much for me to afford but I did a bit of searching and found out that it was by a local photographer called Robin Dale. You can view some of Robin's work on the ArtBank website - www.artsbank.co.uk/artists/artist/robin-dale/Most of Robin's photos are of Middlesbrough in the 60's & 70's. I really love the 2 photos below by, the 2nd one 'Boot Boys' was used for the artwork for Volume 3 of the Pressure Drop CD. And if anyone is wondering about the score in the Boro match we won 2-0! 'Spot of Bother', Ayesome Park Middlesbrough Vs Cardiff City March 1973 'Boot Boys', Ulla Street Middlesbrough early 1970s

Will check that website out.
Taking of those photos, there was a bloke from BT round my house today checking my phone line. He saw the 'boot boys' photo and turns out that he grew up round Ulla Street and knows one of the people in the photo. He gave me a history lesson on the street as most of Ulla Street is now part of the Uni. Turns out he also likes a bit of ska & reggae and will be coming to Pressure Drop next month.
