Did anyone used to attend the C.C.I. (Classic Club International) Rally's back in the 80's & 90's?
I know that these were Mod rallies but I do remember quite a few skinheads turning up at the events. The rallies ran from 1987 (taking over from The Phoenix rallies) and ended around 1999. I started going on the Mod rallies back in 1986 and so was there at the start of the C.C.I. rallies which I attended from 1987 till around the mid 90's (1994 or '95). Had some great times on those rallies, some good laughs and made some good mates. I went on some of the other Mod rallies put on by the (New) Untouchables and the RSS but these were never the same.
Anyway, the good news is that Tony Class is putting on a CCI reunion rally later this year. The rally will take place in September but at the moment the venue/location hasn't been decided. But it looks like it will be either at The Ocean Rooms in Gorelston or The Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
