Hope you've all recovered from last Sunday's Pressure Drop Bank Holiday Special as it's back on again this Sunday 6th June at Dr Browns. Boss DJ Paddy M & guest will be spinning Boss Reggae, Ska, Soul & Rocksteady vinyl classics and rarities from 6pm till late. Admission as always is free!
For those of you going to Middlesbrough Music Live before Pressure Drop The Ska Beats (who I know some of the regulars are fans of) are playing at The Hairy Lemon at 4pm and on after them a 5pm are The Southmartins (Housemartins/Beautiful South covers band). This years line up for Middlesbrough Music Live is a bit pants to be honest but I'll be at The Town Hall Stage at 12 noon to catch Russell & The Wolves who I rate as the best local band around. This is what the MML programme says about Russell & The Wolves -
"Quiffs, retina-threatening shirts and a throbbing, rumbling rockabilly assault that sounds like The Cramps throwing knives at Link Wray".
Hope to see some of you on Sunday!

This Pressure Drop turned out to be a great night in the end. It was good to see all the new faces there. We had a few skinheads from Newcastle who had made the journey up and also Rob Foley from The Ska Beats, at least I think it was Rob as I didn't really recognise him with his shirt on! Redcar John has now gone from table dancing to dancing at the top of a ladder. I got some photos & a video from last night. Would of posted them up here but I went and left my camera at Dr Browns. I don't suppose anyone picked it up did they?

Maybe time to knock up another one soon?
