They will always be divisions between skinheads, be it politics, music, clothes or even which football team you support.
Coming from the mod scene I saw it back in the 80's when most mods started listening to 60's soul and R&B while others were still into the '79 revival bands. There was also a North/South divide thing going on too and a few fights at mod events/rallies. You had people falling out for a number of reasons and at one point there were 3 separate mod rallies going on over Bank Holiday weekends. It did the scene no favours at all.
