He was telling me at the A19's Scooter bash the other week that he got the UK Skinheads site to shutdown after been on there for a week. I'd had a bit to drink by then so can't recall the reason he gave why they took the site down. |

This is what Craddy had to say about the site getting closed down/taken offline.

The skinhead UK forum group was far from an informative site RedKev. They would only advertise the events they wanted to and if there was someone like the Big40 who they hated because of their jealousy, you were banned from their site. And yes, they were biggots, idiots and morons.

I always found the site really useful and the banter was always fun. I can't comment on that site to be honest as I've never even looked at it. But I'm sure that it's the same as all forums though. Most will be there to have a laugh or to pass the time away while at work while others use it to plug their events. But you always get the odd one or two who are looking to cause trouble. It's not just a skinhead thing as I've found loads of forums to be like that over the years. The worse of which had to be the old Paul Weller forum, loads of people were falling out with each other over that site. I probably didn't help by saying that he hasn't released a decent record since the 80s! |

Don't think it was down to any individual that it closed.More to do with the bloke who ran it,getting fed up with it all(despite the fella doing a good job, it was a pretty thankless task). It was a good and informative site.The banter was good, but could come across a bit heavy to new comers , granted. As you said Bazza,a forum cant necessarily be responsible for all its members. It's only the internet after all  |
